Randy Owen presented Kenny Chensey with his triple Crown award but didn't sing. Montgomery Gentry sang "My Town". Garth honored ACM History with an award. Lee Ann Womack was amazing with "Remember When" for Alan Jackson. Alan was honored for most wins in the Best Song category. Brooks and Dunn sang "That's the Way Love Goes" to honor Merle Haggard's Triple Crown. Trisha Yearwood belted out "You Lied" to honor Reba McEntire as the Best Female Vocalist. Alan Jackson performed "My Home's in Alabama" to honor Alabama as the winningest Group in ACM History. Rascal Flatts performed "Fast Cars and Freedom". Montgomery Gentry played "Girls All Look Prettier at Closing Time" to honor Mickey Gilley. Kenny Chesney honored George Strait with "Marina Del Ray".
Strangely enough, no one performed for Kenny Chesney although Randy Owen of Alabama did present him his award. And no one honored the Dixie Chicks for their Triple Crown.
