Atlanta, GA - Philips Arena
18 July 2005
This was a great show. Pat Green started it off at exactly 7:30 with a short set. He changed up the lineup slightly He started with "Carry On", then went to "Don't Break My Heart Again", "I Want You to Want Me" instead of "Glory Days", " Baby Doll", and with the crowd on it's feet, ended with "Wave on Wave". Gretchen Wilson played the same set. The crowd was on it's feet from the first notes. She started with the title song from her upcoming album "All Jacked Up", then went into "Homewrecker", "When it Rains", "When I think about Cheatin'", "Politically Uncorrect", "Pocahontas Proud", "Skoal Ring", "Holdin' You", "California girls", "Strait On" (Heart cover), ""Black Dog" (Led Zeppelin), "Redneck Woman", and "I'm Here for the Party".
Kenny changed a couple of things this time.. He came in from the back of the arena.. singing "Keg in the Closet", and he never stopped playing his hits... "Live Those Songs", "Big Star", "Young", "The Woman with You", "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems", "I go Back", "Anything But Mine", "She's Got it All", "That's Why I'm Here", "I Lost It", "Blue Chair", "Where I come From". He brought Gretchen Wilson back to the stage and they sang "Hurt So Good". Kenny skipped a fan favorite "Lay you down".. "The Good Stuff", "Don't Happen Twice". Kenny started with "The Sun Goes Down" and then brought out Uncle Kracker to finish the duet. Uncle Kracker stayed on stage and they sang "Cowboy Man", "xxx" and "DriftAway". Kenny continued on with "How Forever Feels", "There Goes My Life"... and ended up the night with "She Thinks my Tractor's Sexy". The crowd never sat down. Kenny brings an amazing amount of energy and charisma to the stage. Can't wait for day 2 of the "Kenny Concert Series".
